The Solar Accelerated Transition Action Programme (Solar ATAP) is a green energy initiative launched in Peninsular Malaysia, effective 1 January 2026. Under this programme:

• Domestic consumers can install solar PV systems up to 5 kW for single-phase and 15 kW for three-phase connections.
  
• Excess electricity not consumed on-site can be exported to the grid, earning bill credits.*
• The programme runs for up to 10 years from the installation start date.
