The Chinese New Year celebrations are full of delicious food—roast meats, dumplings, hotpot… and let’s be honest, sometimes it can get a little too “heaty”. 😅
If you’ve been feeling sluggish or bloated from all the festive indulgence, it’s time to refresh your body with some cooling drinks!
Passion Mango Smoothie - 百香芒芒 🥭
Ingredients:

Mango – 120 g

Passion fruit – 1 pc

Ice cubes – as needed

Yogurt – 300 ml
-
Honey or rock sugar – to taste
Instructions:

Add all ingredients to a blender.

Blend until smooth and creamy.
Watermelon Coconut Smoothie with Sago - 西瓜椰椰🍉
Ingredients:

Watermelon – 200 g
-
Coconut milk – 150 ml
-
Ice cubes – 150 g
-
Milk powder – 30 g
-
Sago (small pearls) – as needed
Instructions:

Boil water and cook the sago for 10 minutes, then turn off the heat and let it sit for another 10 minutes. Rinse with cold water and set aside.

Place the remaining ingredients in a blender and blend into juice.

In a serving glass, add the cooked sago first, then pour the blended juice on top.
Green Apple Juice - 青苹果汁🍏

Green Apple: Choose very green-skinned apples, like Granny Smith

Ice Cubes

Lemon: Optional—skip if apples are too sour

Cucumber: Optional but recommended for extra freshness

Coconut Water: Optional but recommended—it tastes better than plain water

Salt: Optional but recommended—a tiny pinch enhances flavor
-
Honey: Needed if the apples are very sour (white sugar works too)

Other optional tools: Dried plum (hua mei), fresh mint
Instructions

Wash the green apples thoroughly and cut into pieces. Soak in salt water to prevent oxidation.

Add ice cubes and coconut water (or plain water) into a juicer.

Taste your apples first, then add lemon, cucumber, sugar, or honey as needed depending on their sourness.

Blend until smooth, with no visible chunks.

Strain the juice to remove pulp and fibers.

Add extra ice cubes, a pinch of sea salt, and optionally a few dried plums or fresh mint leaves.
