1. Japanese Takoyaki

Ingredients
Batter
- 100g cake flour
- 20g cornstarch
- 400ml dashi stock
- ¼ tsp baking powder
- 1 egg
- A pinch of salt
Filling & Toppings
- Cooked octopus, diced
- Cabbage, finely chopped
- Onion, finely chopped
- Green onion, chopped
- Takoyaki sauce
- Japanese mayonnaise
- Dried bonito flakes
- Cooking oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the cake flour, cornstarch, dashi stock, baking powder, egg, and salt. Mix until smooth and set aside.
- Install the Takoyaki Plate and select the Takoyaki programme. The cooker will automatically set the temperature and cooking time.
- Once the cooker beeps, lightly brush each mould with cooking oil.
- Fill each mould with batter.
- Add the octopus, cabbage, onion, and green onion.
- Pour a little more batter over the fillings.
- Once the bottom begins to cook, use skewers or chopsticks to gently turn each piece into a ball. Brush with a little oil if needed.
- Continue cooking until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve with takoyaki sauce, Japanese mayonnaise, and a generous sprinkle of dried bonito flakes.
2. Korean Sweet Chili Chicken

Ingredients
- ½ chicken, cut into serving pieces
- 2 tbsp curry powder
- 2 tbsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
- A pinch of salt
- A pinch of black pepper
- 40g Korean sweet chili sauce
- White sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken with the curry powder, turmeric powder, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper for 3–4 hours or overnight.
- Install the Grill Plate and select the BBQ programme.
- Grill the chicken until fully cooked and nicely browned.
- Transfer the cooked chicken to a bowl and pour in the Korean sweet chili sauce.
- Toss until every piece is evenly coated.
- Garnish with white sesame seeds before serving.
3. Bakso Suhun (Indonesian Meatball Glass Noodle Soup)

Ingredients
- Bakso (Indonesian beef meatballs)
- Suhun (glass noodles)
- Water
- Tumis bahan tumbuk:
- Shallots
- Garlic
- Ginger
- A small amount of nutmeg
- Masako seasoning
- White pepper powder
- Salt
- Spring onion, chopped
- Cooking oil
Instructions
- Select the Stir Fry programme.
- Add a little cooking oil and sauté the blended shallots, garlic, ginger, and nutmeg until fragrant.
- Pour in the water.
- Switch to Hot Pot mode.
- Add the bakso, Masako seasoning, white pepper powder, and salt. Bring to a gentle boil.
- Add the glass noodles and cook until softened.
